Been out of the game for too long: Card recommendations?

I've had an ATI 4850 for quite a while now. Card works well and plays what I need it to. However, the thing is heating up quite a bit! I'd rather not spend 50+ on a cooler when I can hopefully get a comparable or better card for around $100.

I'm open to ATI/AMD or Nvidia.

The gtx 460 would be a great fit for your system.

The $90 Galaxy 460 would definitely be a good choice for your resolution if you're able to get in on that deal.
