If that is an actual screenshot there was a map in Battfield Hardline that was similar just a swamp.

Yeeeehaaaaw!Just two good ol' boys,
Never meaning no harm
Beats all you never saw,
Been in trouble with the law
Since the day they were born
Dukes of Hazzard?
Meh if the servers don't return to how they were in BF4 and prior I will skip it just like BF1 and BFV. I put over 1300 hours in BF3 and BF4 and I have less than the 10 hour trial in both BF1 and BFV. Battlefield is why I would build a new computer and why my computer is back from when I built it for BF4. Now of course I probably couldn't get the parts if I wanted to build one.So... can you get on the rocket before it lifts off and ride it into space?
This is BATTLEFIELD, you know people are gonna try it
Since the game is supposed to be cross platform, my guess servers will be the same as BF1 and BFV. Just like the last two, they will say news on server rentals is coming, but won't be out for 6 months or so. When it finally comes it will be underwhelming again and missing the majority of features.
Nah there was Dukes of Hazard happening in Battlefield Hardline.
I'd prefer this too but it depends how good the anti cheat is. I see cheaters often in warzone and its cross platform. Having PC only servers would be a nightmare. If I was a console player I'd be pissed I'd have to play with PC players.I worry about that to. If anything, do servers right at release. Cross platform later when the player base dies. For strong PC games like BF4 people play them for many years.
June 1st for the BF6 Trailer hope they put up preorders on Steam the same day. I was late on jump on BF3 I think i bought a hard copy at Walmart like two years after the release which included al the DLC as well.
It's Battlefield if you even put game on your wishlist I have a pretty good idea what is going to be good from my 46 years as a gamer.
Plus it's a modern Battlefield this time around. I don't jump on everything sometimes I'm just looking for a new game on my day off because everything else is months old. i would like to be a game developer or in a studio but I lack any formal education to make games I have guys on my Steams friends list that make assets all day but I just consider that a waste of time because they show me the results and I try not to laugh =)
I reckon it'll be the usual practice of cinematic trailer first, and then the gameplay trailer everyone wants to see following a month later. No likey.

OTOH, if we're potentially playing an open beta as soon as next month, then all is forgiven. Will be good to be back in the BF3/BF4 universe, if only briefly before the longer wait until October/November.
Yuck. Keep call of duty away, especially the artificial handicaps if you're doing well (aim drift, slower run speed, lower damage dealt, etc)!RIP

Ocn has a big thread on it and some streamers have remarked on it. It's related to the scorebased matchmaking in cod black Ops cold war.Wait...wut?

there was gameplay footage at E3 for BF5 so we should see what we're getting in 9 days.True but in the past they sometimes had an open play during E3 week.
I like the progression system. I need more to play for than just wins and K/D ratio. I know not everyone shares that opinion, but the good thing about Battlefield is for the most part it caters to both audiences.Battlefield is my favorite gaming franchise. My biggest concern with launching a Battlefield game in this day and age is the fact there will almost certainly be some sort of leveling-up, progression, skin system, etc. etc. to pander to the new era of gamers. People can't play multiplayer games these days without getting a new flashy skin or watching a progression meter go up at the end of every map.
Not sure how they'll manage all that, but it seems like a tough situation to be in. Not sure I want to see people running around the map in a glowing purple ultra-rare skin.
Plus, there will almost certainly be some sort of battle royal eventually. Which to me means free, and free means other methods of revenue. And other methods of revenue mean flashy skins, weapon "charms", etc...
It's an EA game, meaning Origin and Steam.Wondering if its an Epic exclusive.
Do better to earn unlocks faster. The important ones can be earned quickly. The series died for me with BF3. Too much focus on unlocks, especially ones that gave real gameplay advantages, so people who had way too much time to play had the advantage. Ain't got time for that shit.
The series died for me with BF6. Because they won't let me play it yet (even though I want to). Also, Ospreys -- is it a helicopter, or is it a plane? Sorry, it can't be both at the same time. Ridiculous. The series died for me with BF3. Too much focus on unlocks, especially ones that gave real gameplay advantages, so people who had way too much time to play had the advantage. Ain't got time for that shit.
