Starting on June 23, 2005. We started haviing global on the backup exec remote agents. After a couple of days of trouble shooting I found that it was related to a vulnerability that was published by CERT. The bad part is that it is tied to a new worm that only trend at this time has a virus defenition going for it. WORM_BOT.BLH.
Apparently this little sucker is doing a port scan and when it gets to 10000, It crashes the remote agent. So if you have had funky things like this happening in your network. THere is the answer
