Heres the deal. I have some cheapo Altec Lansing AVS500 4.1 ( http://gear.ign.com/articles/306/306187p1.html ) and I just got a brand new NF7-S v2.0.
I plug in the front/rear speakers where the mobo manual says, run the nforce speaker config wizard, but no rear speaker sound at all.
The plugs on the AVS500 are a little weird - Theres only two, a front and a read (green and black, respectivly), that feed into the sub, then the other speakers all plug into that.
Anyone have any ideas? I dont really want to go back to the Hercules FortiSSimo II that I had - good card, but I hate that little cord you have to have to plug anything in! Hell for LAN parties, I forget it all the time
