Did Intel plan to refresh or upgrade the Avoton platform? I want to upgrade my plex machine and the Avoton offers some great flexibility without killing the bank.
I'm not opposed to getting a Xeon D platform but that is much more expensive.
Denverton is on the Intel official roadmap as the new server Atom. Speculation based on that roadmap and product announcements is that it could be coming in Q4. Given the way server CPU launches go (often in mid to late December), I wouldn't expect one under the xmas tree this year.
I was looking at that earlier, did not see the denverton entry, write that was tough to see. I hope they do release at the end of the year. Sad to see such a long release between the platforms.
