Auto run

I need to have a script or program automatically ran everytime this removable media is inserted, I've tried making an autorun.inf file but its a no go. its a removable drive like usb or media drive

Oh yeah I'm running win2k

I really don't know the answer, but I'm curious. If you burn your files and your autorun.inf to a CD, does it work?

you just need to make a batch script to do these functions,Or you can also make some nice .net services

Haven't tried test via CD yet i'll do that later, a batch file will not be automatically invoked when the drive is inserted.

If I could have something on the drive or on the computer that whould run something whne that drive is inserted is what I'm looking for.
