I don't know if anyone knows about this, but I found it on Rage3D and I am passing it on for those who use Linux and ATI.

Through this thread I found that my ATI 9500 pro was being detected as only have 16 Meg of memory when in actuality I have 128. Hopefully some of you can benefit from this.
