Considering that the CPU alone goes for $76 on the egg right now, this is a pretty good deal. Don't like the motherboard? eBay it, and use that money to subsidize a better board.

The sale combos are rarely available online. The last one I saw was a S939 or S754 combo several months ago for $50, and it wasn't a combo from the newspaper ad.

You must have lazy workers at your local Fry's. The workers at the one near me always just grab a board from the top shelves if only open boxes are on the lower shelves.
