I bought a Rampage II Gene to replace the board in my friends computer that was broken in shipping. But it won't post it turns on if when you plug in the power supply or turn it on by the switch, but then it sounds like it just continues to power cycle every 5 seconds.
Pushing the power button does nothing. I have tired clearing the cmos. Taking out the Ram, and video. Using my i7 920, my power supply, and my ram, but it all has the same issue. I have never seen this before.
Is there anything else I can try before RMAing the board? I really don't want to spend 8$ on shipping to get a replacement if I don't have to.
