Special note
I just got this motherboard a few days ago: rev. 1.03G. After 20+ hours of testing, I have found:
There is no (or barely if any) performance gain with using 8 pin power to the 12V than using 4 pin.
Corsair ValueRAM PC2-4300 RAM works well, way better than expected.
OCZ's PC2-5400 EL Dual CH Gold Edition GX XTC does not work on tried BIOSs (versions 0204, 0804, 0910)

BIOS version used were 0804 (from Asus webpage) and 0910 (from http://starjojotrek2.free.fr/BIOS/)
There is an advantage of 7 FSB more (+1.7%) for using BIOS version 0910 (418 FSB max stable) over BIOS version 0804 (411 FSB max stable).

Summary
I got maximum stable FSB with:
RAM settings = 5-5-5-15 6-42 3-11-5-14

Vdimm = 1.95V
Vcore = 1.3375V
NB = 1.55V
SB = 1.50V
ICH = Auto
FSB termination voltage (aka. Vtt?) = 1.40V

Detailed analysis
Vdimm = 1.95V
If 1.90V, FSB lowers by 5 (-1.2%)
If 2.00V, FSB stays the same (0%).

Vcore = 1.3375V
If 1.35V, FSB lowers by 1 (-0.24%)
If 1.40V, FSB lowers by 2 (-0.48%)
If 1.325V, FSB lowers by 2 (-0.48%)
If 1.300V, FSB lowers by 2 (-0.48%)

NB = 1.55V
If 1.65V, FSB lowers by 2(-0.48%)
If 1.45V, FSB lowers by 40 (-9.6%) <- relatively big drop
If 1.25V, FSB lowers by 48 (-11.5%)

SB = 1.50V
If 1.60V, FSB stays the same (0%).

ICH = Auto
If 1.057V, FSB stays the same (0%).
If 1.215V, FSB lowers by 3 (-0.72%). <- sometimes does not POST

FSB terminate = 1.40V
If 1.45V, FSB lowers by 5 (-1.2%)
If lowerV, FSB *To Be Announced* (forgot to do an experiment for this)

Future
Future tests with PC2-6400 or above hopefully.
Any comments/advice/tips/suggestions welcome.

Thanks for the Asus BIOS link.

It would be interesting to see some similar testing when you get your DDR2-6400 ram in there.

are you saying that setting the FSB termination to 1.45 netted a lower FSB OC then using 1.4? If so, that is very interesting. Excellent write up here, that must have took you a long time to do.

It took around 6 hours thanks to the time saving Systools.

I'm building a system on this board next week.

Will any of those BIOSes work on the P5B Deluxe? The FIRST thing I'll be doing before installing Windows is flashing the BIOS from a boot CD.

to the OP, "Not using the latest bios?"

To the poster before me, I suggest BIOS 804; I been using that for a long while and it's stable and allows for a great overclock.
