Astronauts Find Living Organisms on ISS Exterior

Isn't the best way to colonize Mars is to drop a bunch of plankton around the polar regions and some water and gases and hope the plankton can help retain the stuff for us?

Its been long theorized that life between worlds, at least in our solar system, was mobile. Traveling between planets in chunks of rocks blasted off the surface by meteor impacts during the violent formative years of our solar system.

Perhaps these plankton are a result of space particulate building up on the ISS.
