Are the Prescott E0s a lot better than the D0s?

Hey guys, Newegg just sent me a 3.0E D0 stepping.

I was pretty sure E0 was the newest stepping and I was wondering if anyone knew the differences between the two. I have not opened the box yet just incase I decide to send it back and try to find an E0.

The s-spec is SL7KB. Package date: 4/28/2005

I am runing my IC7-G with an XP-120 and am looking to get an overclock between 3600 and 3800mhz. Will this D0 hit those speeds? Are the E0s a whole lot better?

Yes. E0's are much better overclockers. Many E0's will do 4 GHz. Have one for sale:
