Just picked up this set today and I was hoping to get some custom calibration settings for it before I go out and buy a calibration DVD.

Anyone done it?

Here are the settings I've set using the AVSHD 709 calibration tool;

Picture: Custom
Backlight: 83
Brightness:
-72 [with RGB full (HDMI)] (I suggest using RGB Full if you can)
-62 [with RGB limited (HDMI) or cables other then HDMI]
Contrast:
-19 [RGB full]
-29 [RGB limited or cables other then HDMI]
Color: 43
Tint: 0
Sharpness: 4
Adv. Video:
-Everything turned to 'off
(Only use 'noise reduction' if you have to. Will make things too blurry if
used when it isn't necessary)
("Color Enhancement"; 'rich color' and 'normal' tend to make purples look
too pink and makes shades of blue hard to differentiate. The other settings
just look weird)
("Advanced Adaptive Luma"; you can have the benefits of this setting by setting
Brightness and Contrast accurately. Plus, using a 'Dynamic and Center' test
with AVSHD 709 (designed to show a loss of detail associated with Backlight
setting) I saw issues with this setting enabled)
("Backlight Control"; with this on one will see issue when switching quickly between
scenes in movies, tv shows, or games. When switching scenes, the backlight will
dim down completely and slowly come back on half-way through the next scene)
-Color Temperature: Normal
Red: 185
Green: 183
Blue: 173
-Film Mode: Auto (really important for helping movies movie smoothly with this TV)
