Any way to specify what Java version to use per website?

We have a few work apps (web interfaces) that require DIFFERENT Java versions. For whatever reason, I have an app that won't work unless I use 1.4_02 (verified that 1.5 crushes it), and another set of sites that need 1.5+. Short of going into IE each time to set the version, is there a way around this? Any kind of call I can make in the shortcut, or anything? It's getting annoying.
