4gigs of Crucial Tracer @ 7-7-7-24 @ 1333mhz
A880g+ Motherboard
ZOTAC Geforce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB
COOLER MASTER Elite 460W
500GIG 3.5in SATA Drive
DVD-RW Combo SATA Drive

Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you're not planning on upgrading, CX430 V2 or something similar.

Im confused? Is that what your building or is that your current setup?

Current setup. I was on a budget so I did what I knew I shouldnt do and got a not so good PSU. I just ordered the 460 gtx sooo I was just curious whether or not I need a new PSU.

I understand that look at my psu lol mhm if you never upgrade again then i would look at what tsumi said Corsair makes great products

So your saying I am good with what I got? Great! I was just curious because my new 460 requires 2 6pin connectors lol

No, you're not good with what you've got. That Cooler Master PSU is extremely bad and is not suitable for your PC. Go with Tsumi's suggestion and get a CX430 if you're trying to spend as little as possible. If you're willing to spend a little more to get a truly good quality PSU, then let me know and I can make some other suggestions.

Yeah cuz Corsair units arnt really that good or anything zero lol... Ocz has some good units some suck like mine...

Grab a Corsair 650TX. It has 52A on the 12V rail. It has 2x 6+2 pci-e connectors for your future video cards.

Not that you necessarily need more power. I'd say you'd be golden with an Antec Earthwatts 380D.

With the Athlon II x2 and a GTX 460, Furmark + Prime 95, you're looking at a worst case scenario of 250w AT THE WALL. I'd be very, very surprised if you ever hit that. Ever.

I put together a GTX 470 and a Phenom II X3 for a friend and it pulled 280 at the wall, Furmark and P95. And that was with an Earthwatts 380d, which has a dual rail 12v system. One 15amp, one 17 amp. They're not packed with features, but they're made well -- and you can get one for $35.

Otherwise, if we're just making random PSU recommendations, get a Seasonic X series.

i got a few that I would like someone to take a look at

Antec EarthWatts EA-500D Green 500W $64.99 - 15.00 OFF = 49.00 w/ free 2 day shipping

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular High PSU $74.99 - 10% OFF = 67.49 - 25.00 MIR = 42.29 with Free 2 day

Antec BP550 Plus 550W $54.99 with free 2 day shipping

i am leaning toward the modxtream because it handles better wattage on the 12v rail and its modular. I guess the only thing holding me back in the MIR....

Out of those three options, I'd go with the Antec Earthwatts. But as hossdaddy said, they're pretty much bad values for the money. Go for the Antec Neo Eco 520C that hossdaddy recommended.
