Im trying to find an HD camcorder that I can pair up well with a GoPro HD camera.
Currently, Ive got a standard definition camcorder and Id hate to have to degrade the GoPro footage to accommodate the lower common denominator.
The GoPro is capable of filming at both 1080p and 720p. My price range is less than $500 although if compelling enough, I could throw in another $100. I use Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing. Videos are posted on Youtube as well as for home viewing on HDTVs.
On the low end of the price range I've been eyeing the Samsung HMX-Q10BN - it's only 720p but the price and compactness is very attractive. On the high end there's the SONY HDR CX160 which is 1080p and seems to have positive reviews all around.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
