What should the stock speed X multiplier be for an AMD 2500+ chip?

Right now I am overclocked at 200 X 11. I want to set it back to stock. What is the formula please?

2500+ is a 166(333)FSB chip. The multi should be locked so you don't have much to worry about there.

You could also just reset the BIOS and let the mobo autodetect things.

I have that same setup. I believe that the stock fsb is 166, but I am not sure due to the fact that I overclocked my processor awhile ago. Whats the reason of setting it back to stock? Insufficient cooling? I have a volcano 11 and I hover around 35 degrees celcius. On load I hover around 38-40 degrees. I suggest the volcano 11 to anyone. The downside is how loud it is at full rpm, but it's worth it.

Thanks all.

My system crashed and before I fix it I want to be at stock settings instead of overclocked.

That is not necessarily true. Only the later revision desktop 2500+ parts were locked. I have a retail Barton that I purchased before they started multiplier locking them.
