So I'm looking to replace the fans in my Lian-Li PC-P50 and decided to go with something that has a white led (Goes nice with the black case and smoked black Plexiglas window i put in) The only fans that I found that come in both 140 and 120mm are the Aerocool Silver Lightning. I read a few reviews and they seemed to be well liked but I want to know what everyone here thinks about them before I pull the trigger on them.

I have never heard anything all that great about Aerocool fans. And for the most part LED fans suck and at 15 bucks for a sleeve bearing I would pass. Also, why do you need 140mm? Most cases that have places for 140mm also accept 120mm fans. If I just HAD to get an LED fan I would get the Yate Loon fans, much better price. If I was ok with spending 14+ just for leds on a fan I would go for the Nexus 120mm fans, they have always treated me well. However, if it was my case I would get some Slipstream or Kama Flex fans and then buy some LED's to put in the case with the money saved, you can buy all kinds, just some to mount anywhere, or if you HAVE to have them on the fan get some prewired (12v) ones off of eBay and drill some holes in the sides of the fan and use some superglue (or hot glue) to keep them in place and bang, you have LED fans that are quiet.

I figured that a 140mm fan would push more air quieter because of the bigger blades...but i could be wrong.

Most 140mm fans I have seen don't do any better than a good 120mm, not many people make good 140mm fans, so you end up getting more airflow from a quality 120mm fan, they also tend to be cheaper.
