Adding another harddrive

I'm adding a second harddrive to my configuration. What do I need to do to add it ? I don't want it to have windows or anything on it. I just want to use it as a secondary storage harddrive. What's the best way to do this?

It all depends on how your computer is set up.
If you have one hard drive and one CD in there now,
I'd put the second drive as a slave on the same cable as the current hard drive.
If you have 1 hard drive and 3 other IDE devices, you either need to add another IDE card or remove one of the 3 other IDE devices.

Also, you may have to re-jumper your main drive if it is going to be hooked up on the same cable as the new drive.
Some drives have Master/Single Master w/Slave, so you have to set it accordingly.
