Acrylic Case + TV tuner + EMI = bad TV reception?

I'm thinking about getting an acrylic case, but I’m worried about the impact it will have on my TV tuner and system stability.
It would leave system almost totally exposed to electro magnetic noise.
Does anyone have any first hand experience with clear cases and TV tuners?

Iv heard anything over 1/4" thick will not allow EMI out or in.

I havnt seen anyone here or anywhere else have a similar problem in the few years I have been checking this forums(and many others).

accually i have a steel case and a tv card and it gets interferecne while the whole things steel but tis isnt that bad...

radioshack has cable "filters" basicly its a bod on a cable wire that'll filter out the static....i think that'd do the trick and its only 4 or 5 bucks...so if you plugged that into your card and then the cable into the other end it should be pretty clear
