Acer H257HU 25-Inch WQHD Monitor

I could be wrong, but the Acer does not have a pivoting stand. Benq's Bl2420 and dells 25" have a pivoting stand.

The Dell U2515H has impressively low lag and is my recommendation for 3-5 multi-monitors setups right now.

Would love to hear from anyone that has this Acer H257HU. I'm seeing a number of complaints about the Dell 2515U (panel lottery), so I'm certainly interested in this alternative.

U2515H has a lot of complains because:
-it sells a lot.
- it available on North America, the central hub of internet speaking complainers
with that said:

Acer never had a better panel quality reputation than Dell's.
Dell offers perfect pixel warranty terms and the display comes with factory calibration.
U2515H has DP-out for daisy-chained setups. One can link 3 U2515H to a DP 1.2 laptop without adapters.

Changing from Dell to Acer to avoid backlight bleed issues is akin to change apartments with your neighbor to avoid a meteor impact. If you really want less BLB, try a smaller IPS screen like the P2416D, or be safe and choose a VA panel.

The Dell 2515 was released in Australia a couple months ago, then disappeared from their aussie website not long after. Not a simple case of "out of stock" - the thing just disappeared from the regular monitor list. Though a couple people have had success calling Dell with some reps locating it and selling it over the phone.

The Dell forums have had a few people mention the U2515 display "going black" for a couple seconds or just not waking up:

Plus various quality control issues (yellow tinting, dead pixels, etc). My hunch is that the first revision of this monitor is a dud. Someone reviewing the Acer H257H wrote in a comment that he had two Dell 2515's and had to send back both for flickering, dead pixels and touch button issues.

I am unable to replicate the "going black issue" with my U2515H.
Dead pixels are a non-issue with Dell's warranty terms.
U2515H was available in Australia months before TFTCentral made their review. Mine has a manufacture date of march/2015, so i am probably not the best source for data regarding older U2515Hs quality control. Mine has even better Delta E numbers than the TFTCentral review sample.:)
