Abit NV7-133R sound not working, installed unified drivers

i just reinstalled an OS on an Abit nv7-133R machine with onboard Nvidida Nforce sound. I installed the inified drivers from Abit's website, as well as from Nvidia's website, and still can't get the sound to work. It ius set to "auto" in the BIOS. Is there something i'm missing? there is no mention of sound drivers for the board at Abit's website.
 
I've had the same problem, it's a bizzare problem that happens only if you installed the latest nForce driver first.

What you have to do is look for an older version of the unified driver, I think 1.5(can't remember...) is the latest one that would get the sound to work, then update to the newest nforce driver.
