Abit NF7-S sound problems

Well , everynow and then usually after a few hours of intense video gaming my sound goes all to hell. I becomes very distorded and causes me to close the game down. The second I close it and reopen it the sounds are fine as if anything never even happened. I know this is a problem people are having with the NF7 boards. I'm just curious if anyone knows the exact reason to this problem and if there is anyway to get around it. My comp is usually around 48C or so when this problem starts to occur. Taking in mind I'm on WC'in and Abit reports higher temps I'm not thinking this is a heat problem. Could it be the SB overheating too much?
