a8v deluxe mobo. In the bios there is a setting for vlink. what on earth does this do? its listed with agp voltage and stuff so im 99 percent sure its the voltage for something, and i would asume the voltage for vlink. but what is vlink? is there any benifit of increasing this voltage?

VLink is the name of the proprietary protocol that VIA uses for the connection between the north bridge and the south bridge. I believe it's a serial protocol like HyperTransport. The setting you have there could mean anything (I'll have to look it up in the BIOS of my A8V) but if it's indicated as a voltage, it could be useful when overclocking...
