Hi
I've set out to build my own 'soft' baybus, using some maxim i2c fan controllers and temp sensors
the machine I want to run this on is equipped with a a7n8x-e deluxe motherboard.
Asus seems to have forgotten their 'commitment' to smbus availability on this board, as there doesn't seem to be a header or even empty pads anywhere for the SMBus, unlike most any other asus board where there is a header near the pci slots.
I've read the articles about soldering some wires onto a dimm, piggy backing it's smbus connection, but I'd rather leave my nice mushkins alone
can anyone share other tap-in locations?
thanks!!
