8600M GT- Performance between 512mb and 256mb version

I was wondering what was the performance difference between the 512mb version and the 256mb. Is it noticeable? Is it worth canceling my order and getting a 512mb version? Thanks

the 256mb one is the GDDR3 and will generally perform about 33% better than its 512mb ddr2 counterpart.
