7850's on X11?

My rig full of 7850's for whatever reason is only getting around 600k each using the same core/RAM speeds are before with scrypt. Anybody else seeing this really low hash with X11? I'm wondering if I should just dump these cards or at least move them back to scrypt.

I just set someone's 7850 up last night, got around 1mh/s, from the top of my head i just remember this, give it a go:

Core 1030 / Mem 1330: -g 1 -I 18 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 22336

I do have the same problem with some Gigabyte 7970 windforce cards, still tinkering to find the fix.

Using these on my 270s, averaging 1250kh/s on each for x11

1000 core
1250 mem
-xintensity 384,4 (2 different gpus)
-g 2
-thread-concurrency 8192

YMMV

EDIT: Nvm, I see that the 7850 has less shaders than 270/7870. These could be completely incompatible.

I have 270's, 270x's and 7870's but for some reason specifically my 7850's are performing way under what I'd expect. I'm really considering just selling them all and getting whatever I can with 750ti's at this point or just pointing them back to scrypt

My 7850's liked:

Tc: 8192
Threads: 1
Intensity: 18
Engine: 1200
Memory: 1450
LookupGap: 2
PTune: +15
Voltages: stock

What drivers are you running? They like the 12.8, if I recall.

Something has to be wrong, do you have them in a system with newer cards as well. Drivers could be an issue, I have a 6850 I have to run 12.8 on but it gets right at 1Mh/s so your 7850 should be doing much better than 600Kh/s. I don't tweak any settings except intensity as well.

Yeah..not sure what OS you are running. But maybe grab a copy of PiMP (getpimped.org) and put it on a flash drive. Boot it up and do a quick config of it. They have both 12 series and 13 series driver versions available. They have preconfigs for all the major algorithms for testing. So if you're OK with donating a little hash for testing, you don't really have to do any configuration to test.

It'll also help to see if maybe its a kernel or config issue with the miner software.

Its on pimp, all of my rigs are. That rig is using the older of the two drivers they have available. I'm going to just try a clean USB stick install of it to see if it was something I did.

Any luck? I just switched to PIMP 1.4.2-12.8 and my 2 7850 rigs are outputting around 650 each card hash on X11.

Haven't been able to narrow it down. I may throw 1.4.2-13.12 on it to see what it does.

i got my 7970's running over 2000 hash a piece now, just updated to latest amd drivers, deleted the .bin files in sph sgminer folder, then started it up again, BOOM, higher hashrate.

Switched one of the trouble rigs over to PIMP 1.4.2-13.12 and problem solved. So in other words, don't use the 12.8 AMD drivers unless you absolutely have to.

Getting a much better hashrate now. They're pushing 1.15M per card now.
