77.72 drivers screwing up my video playback

ok, I jusit updated my drivers to the 77.72 drivers that were just recently released so I could get bf2 to run at 1280x1024. Before I updated I was using the most current omega drivers. I went to go and watch an AVI video my friend sent me the other day and now all the video playback looks really off contrast, off color, and really blocky. I dont know what exactly to do to fix this.

The system is the one in my sig.

athlon xp 2500+ (not oc'd)
1024mb or corsair value ram pc3200
BFG 6800OC 128mb (EDIT: nothing oc'ed)
VIA kt600 chipset.

If anything else is needed let me know.

thanks. forgot to do a search first in my haste to get it all fixed.

Oh, you would never be able to find this in a search.

I fixed mine by turning off video acceleration and then back on. Seemed to work. Have not read that thread or anyone else's advice. I thought it was only me but I guess not.
