Hey all,
I've always built powerful small gaming PCs, but I want to take it to the next level. I will be buying a Maximus VI Impact Mini-ITX board and want to build a 1U thick VESA mount PC with my HD6990 connected via a PCIe x16 extension. I can make a custom case. The issue I'm running into is finding an SFX sized power supply that will run it all. From what I've read, the HD6990 takes 350w or more all by itself. I'm having trouble sourcing a 500w SFX PSU. Any suggestions?

there is none atm, Silverstone makes a 450w SFX psu. they also just announced a 500w SFX-L psu (accommodates a 120mm fan) and a 600w SFX psu

Thanks both for the replies. Looks like I'll get my design finished and then probably go with the Shuttle PSU linked. Thanks :)

Adam
