4-screw mATX PSU..

We have a bunch of mATX towers that use these Inwin 4-screw mATX PSU's. They are only 180w, and as we load them down with hard drives and fast CPU's, they've been failing. I've been charged with the task of getting higher wattage PSU's, but I can't seem to find many places that sell them. Is there a certain name I should be looking for? The PSU looks just like a regular ATX PSU, just smaller. This is what they look like. 240w is better than what we have but he's really trying to get closer to 300 if possible. We've been building alot of servers lately and the customers want like three hard drives and 3+ghz CPUs.

What are you talking about? Simply go to newegg they have exactly what you're refering to.

Power Supplies and on the left under compatiblity use MicroATX / Mini-ATX as far as I can tell nobody make a 300w version.

the first two look like theyre 4, picture is hard to tell but i think i can make out 2 holes on the plug end. Not sure, but you can always call compgeeks, theyve always been good to me.

sorry, last one was three holes too. The "apower" was the only one larger than 240 that i could find. :rolleyes:

Well for starters you could be a little nicer to the folks who are trying to help you *cough* troll *cough*. Newegg has the same InWin PS as Directron execpt it's cheaper. None of the other power supplies matched your requierments there. What's preventing you from using a different case? That to me would be the best solution as micro atx cases aren't ment to be servers, hence the small power supplies and limited space.

Yes, I agree with Mr_Gl@ass... that was rather rude to make a comment like that to someone who is trying to help you. My 2cents... I searched a while back for a powerful mATX powersupply, but I couldn't find anything that really had some beef. Good luck!
 
Well, I did manage to find a manfacturer that makes a true 300 watt micro ATX power supply:

However, can't seem to find someone that sells it. It also has the 4 hole mounting interface. By the way I spent the time looking for this for my own interest and not those of the guy that started this post.
