So I'm debating...

Get a 120hz monitor that supports Nvidia Vision 3d or get a non 3d monitor that does 2560x1440? I don't do hardcore gaming, but I do enjoy it. My grahpics card is a 660ti, may be underpowered alittle, but it will suffice for now.

So what would you buy?
Currently playing Tomb Raider, so thats why I have an itch for 3d as I've read it's really done well.

To me, only get the 120hz monitor for 2d 120hz gaming.

Otherwise get a 1440p monitor if you really want it.

Just remember you will need more GPU power (and CPU power) for 120hz or 1440p gaming.

Gaming = 120hz
Movies/Graphics = 1440p

I wouldn't get either unless you plan on adding a second 660ti...look up some benchmarks. Now a 23-27" 1080 IPS/PLS/VA is a different story...nicer colors at a resolution which won't cripple your gpu in a few months.

Why would you want 1440p for movies? Almost all movies you would be watching on your PC are in some form of resolution with 1920 pixels across. If you play them on a 1440p screen it is going to be scaled and ugly.
