I just recently put together a new system, using the 3930k chip and the Antec Kuhler 620. I am not currently overclocking the chip. I noticed however, that in Windows my chip sits at about 42-45C when idle. Is it just me or does this seem high? Should be lower I thought.

I get the same temps with that cooler on my 3930k

I even cleaned up the stock thermal paste and put a thin layer of AS5 on the chip, didn't make a difference. At 100% CPU usage with Prime i'm getting 68-70c.
