30 second plus boot times on am4?

so i am getting 30 plus seconds boot time on am4. i feel like it wasnt always this way and i really cant point to the time it changed. is there something i should look for? os win 11 pro

I think the first thing I'd try is replace the CMOS battery, (Save your BIOS settings first so you can reload them with the new battery.)

If that doesn't do it, do you have any SATA devices? Unplug them and see if it changes. Does the computer restart a few times, or does it just sit there? If it's restarting, it might be retraining memory, try reseating the sticks. Beyond that, I dunno...if you have a spare GPU you could try it just to see if the GPU is doing something strange.
 
check the cmos battery isnt low as suggested above. should be 3.2v if its lower, replace it, and do a good bios clear and reconfig. if you have any other drives connected, other than os, disconnect them and see how it acts.
i havent seem rma retraining issues on am4 though, just pickiness.
