I am looking for something like this :

I saw it comes with these headphones :

The reason why I want it is because on the new 13" MBP it doesn't have a microphone input on it just a headphone output. And Windows Vista on it recognizes the built in microphone but for some reason, any of my other programs won't (common problem looked up, other peoples' skype won't work, and my ventrilo doesn't recognize my microphone).

I am just looking for the adapter because, I don't really want that headset because the mic doesn't detach from those headsets.. so yeah.

If anyone could help me out that would be great :D

worth a shot. the $2 usb sound card i have works, its just staticy and crappy as hell. im sure any halfway decent adapter would work fine though, that one you pictured looks like it might be fine.

take the middle adapter out, it has a mic on it so its really a wireless mic- and you can find these t515's on ebay for around $20
 
Oh, the one I posted comes with a headset.. I was wondering if anyone know where I could get it separately. Or anything similar to it separately from an entire headset.
 
lol contemplating on getting that SteelSeries one.. I might try and get the Plantronics one though for $25.. having a really portable headset is nice.
