Early next year I'll need to install 19 monitors that will be run at 4k 60hz. The current cables for them are 25'. I have a little slack, but don't think I can get down to 15', so I'll need to stick with 25'.
I understand that 4k/60hz is hard to keep past 15'. I need it to be DisplayPort, as that's all the monitor and video card will run those specs at. Will an active cable get me what I need? And if so, will running it through a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter cause any problem if the adapter isn't active but the cable is?
