LG and HP make glossy lcd's that size, check out best buy.

Is there a converter to take the mini-displayport on the Apple monitor and convert it to a regular-sized displayport?
I'm in the same boat. Even harder because I don't want a TN Panel. I have a Acer F20 and that is exactly the type of screen I want. Putting my Acer next to my husband Dell2005W, his display is brighter, mine is far more easier on the eyes. They both have a S-IPS screen so I think the glass helps makes mine a tad better.
HP has a H-IPS screen but its not Glossy. Apple doesn't make an adapter so you can use their displays on a PC. I wish! It would be perfect.
