Well, the desk doesn't look too bad when the flash is off but with it on, it looks horrible.
It's about a year old and I've thoroughly abused it. One of my WTB's for this year is a new desk. You must pardon the mess too. Usually it's slightly cleaner but I've become lazy.

Is that the Dell 24" 2407WFP and Dell 20" 2007FP next to each other?

I already have the Dell 24" and thinking of adding two 20" to each side of it but I want the height to perfectly match.
It looks like the 2007FPW and 1707FP, but I am not sure. I do know that the 2407FPW and 2007FP do not perfectly line up, I believe the 2407FPW is taller by about .6 to .75 inches.

In your first pic, that motherboard sitting on the empty case. Is it a ASUS P3B-F slot 1 with a P3 on it?

P2B-F actually.....350p2 w/ 512mb of memory. Going to run Win2k / [email protected] maybe play around with Linux

It's rather hard to come by a quality Slot 1 board.....the P3B-F that just added 133mhz fsb support didn't it? I have seen people stick up to 1ghz Celerons, 700E's and OC them to 933 w/ 133fsb on the P3B-F. The P3B-F after googling it also lost a ISA slot.
This board used to run 2 56K US.R bomb-ass modems and I would have 3 telephone lines and connect to the internet with both of them. With Windows 2000 rebuilt TCP/IP stack I could download peak 17k, sustained 12-14k.....at the time it was king.

factory81...........are those tall speakers the polks that they ususally have onsale on outpost/frys.com?

My computer.

It's currently half disassembled as I'm waiting on my Opteron 170 to begin installing my water cooling.

Damnit, I'm so paranoid about that... I don't want to fry my x1950 XTX! :(

Beware!!!! Neat Freaks, people who suffer from strokes, and people who can't stand messyness look away, its time for me to finally post my workstation, using my new computer :))))) also its messy and won't run while in a case so its on my desk lol....
beware crappy cell phone pics

stats are in my sig,

factory81...........are those tall speakers the polks that they ususally have onsale on outpost/frys.com?

The ones on my desk are Klipsch B-2's, they run about $230-250 a pair........

The floor standing speakers are the Sony yellow cones, got them NIB for $100. The Klipsch blow the Sony floor standing speakers out of the water in dB and clarity. Lacks a little midbass though.I also have a Klipsch SUB-10 to the bottom left, and a Klipsch ProMedia sub still pumping away under the desk. I am trying to upgrade in to serious home audio.
And in general computer audio (speakers) blow ass any way you look at it. I don't think I will ever buy another fry's / outpost deal unless it is Klipsch, B&W, Earthquake, or something of that quality. I brought the fry's outpost online page printed out where you could get those two floor standing Sony's for $100 shipped and they matched the price. They worked.......they sounded like crap. You'd think 8" midbass would handle 120-160hz....but no.

For the size the output is amazing on these speakers

For the folks who don't read rules, don't ruin this thread for everyone else. The more I have to edit, the easier it is to close it. This is not general mayhem.

No pics of your beds, friends, cats, dogs, neighbors, sex toys, porn collection, etc. This is post your workstation ONLY.

Qtip, if you are in referring to myself. My room while old by todays standards.....( No HDTV )

The T.V. runs a/v to the computer to record Metroid Prime, and other stupid ass Gamecube tournaments, and at the same time the T.V. gets s-video in from the computer to show Flash projects that I have complete for them so they don't have to gawk over my shoulder...even though its a 22" and 20" monitor. If it's a flash movie....then they watch it on the T.V....when they want to read the fine print text they come to the one laptop to the far left which is also my co-designers laptop. The picture of the book case above my workstation is just....yeah maybe unneeded. The 350p2 isn't exactly a workstation...and I could of even took pictures of the 2.6C / 1gb of ram we got laying around the house here.

But basically we're totally going to blow a circuit breaker.

But my bed room together compiles the......workstation room. As soon as you walk in it's like getting a dose of radiation.

Oh and check this messy ass room my parents call a computer room....

Pathetic

Nah I just meant everyone in general. I've been editing a bit too much for such a simple thread. Proceed :D

CletisMckloskey47, is the bushy thing in the lower left corner a dog, or a cat?
it is one of my dogs
Will you please post some more pics of your monitor, I just ordered one and its coming Monday. Also what do you think of it?
it is a very nice monitor. well worth it going to a widescreen. the only bad thing is that there is some backlight bleeding around the sides but i do not notice it anymore.
As do I. Well, the desk.

I personally am kinda dissapointed in the keyboard tray.
It doesn't pull out far enought at all.
the only thing that i do not like is that because i am not using a mouse pad, my mouse has worn down the desk and there are all of these white specks on it. plus it is tough to dust.

Here is my work station, I took a few pictures around the room, because the entire room is my office. Also any of the paintings or drawings in any of the pictures were painted by me. Enjoy.
Ps I built my entire workstation, desk, drawers, and bookcase.
Pss Sorry about the mess, around the upper section, I am in the process of cleaning and organizing it.

boneca dude i remember your old setup your've gotten rid of a lot of screens :( but still nice :D
