I'm getting constant driver stopped responding messages, the only way I could get rid of that was using the previous whql drivers or underclocking my ram

Did you run a driver cleaner in safe mode before installing these new drivers?

Yes, I used DC but the results are all the same

looks like they finally combined the 8xxx drivers with the 7xxx and 6xxx. before the 7xxx drivers only went up to like 9x.xx but now they are using the same as the 8xxx for xp

are you using AERO? if so kill it and shadows on your desktop, reboot. this worked for me and some others over at the nvidia forums.

when you get the error reboot because you will just keep geting it. there is a thread at slizone for you to upload your error log of these crashes directly to nvidia, they know about it and want to fix it.
