A friend of mine offered to sell me his MSI R9 380 (2gb) for 150 euros. This card is still in warranty. However, I can purchase a new EVGA 1050 Ti for 200 euros.

Do you think I should purchase the slightly used MSI R9 380 (2gb) or the new EVGA 1050 Ti?

My Current system is:

i7 6700K @ 4.4ghz
16gb DDR4 Ram
750W PSU
250Gb SSD

Thank you!

1050ti... easy choice. Yer friend isn't giving you much of a deal if the difference is only 50.

Yeah, that's just 2GB, which will choke on today's games. The 1050 Ti is slightly faster and comes with 4GB ram.

I wouldn't pay more than 100 euros for that thing.

That said, I think you can find cheaper GTX 1050 Ti cards. On Amazon's German site, this one is around 165:

https://www.amazon.de/Palit-NE5105T...F8&qid=1479241647&sr=8-5&keywords=gtx+1050+ti

I would avoid EVGA cards outside the US, as they don't typically have the best service overseas. Palit is non-US brand, so they're more likely to offer you great support, and they cost less.

What whatever said. 200 is too much for a 1050 ti, the 470 is much faster and goes for 210 in amazon.de. You can even find the 480 4gb for 226 there.

I'd wait for black friday deals. (Yes, I know this thread is from over a week ago.)
