I'm currently running 2 x 64GB Kingston 325s in RAID0 and it seems awfully snappy, but I'm thinking of buying a larger 120GB SSD and then using the 64GB drives in other builds (wife and HTPC).
My question is how much usability is impacted switching from two RAID0 SSDs to a single larger SSD.
I know that in terms of pure transfer rate RAID0 usually wins, but I'm more concerned from a "user" perspective. Will going to a single SSD make my system less "snappy" in terms of window response? Will games load much slower? Does RAID0 improve random seek times, or is a single SSD better?
