It just mounts on the surface not through the board itself. Adding the wires isn't a bad idea but my ideal solution is to replace the cap if possible.

How long has it been sinse the leak?
Last time I had a leak the machine did a lot of strange things. It took 3 or 4 days for it to get bone dry and work 100%

This does sound very likely. For some reason I didn't consider that the 47 was the uF rating.
This at least sounds worth trying.
I'm still open to idea's if anyone else has them.
Thank you for the replies so far everyone.

Here's some pictures.
As you can see from the picture of the capacitor the leads are really to short to do anything with. I have tried. I worked in an electronics repair shop for 2 years so I've got quite a bit of experience soldering.
In case you are wondering about why the solder in the...
Hey everyone,
I snapped a capacitor of my x850xt video card today. Obviously this won't be covered under any type of warranty so I'm hoping someone might be able to tell me what the value for it would be.
On the board the the capacitor is labeled as c68. On the capacitor the markings read...
Mcbain Camera isn't bad although I think they are a bit over priced.

You can also look at futureshop, London drugs for the "cheaper" DSLR's
I ended up buying my digital rebel xt from London drugs because the price was much cheaper then...
I really like my iwata airbrush. I would definetly recomend getting one of them. If you are planning on airbrushing computer cases and doing detail work I would get one designed for detail work. Probably something with a .35 mm needle. I have a .5mm and find it difficult to get into a lot of...
Grab a PCI video card and throw it in the system. Then remove the other card and go into the bios. Once in there set the bios to use a PCI video card before the AGP video card.
Put the AGP card back in the box and you should be able to boot with video from the pci card. Then run your BIOS...
You may be past this point but I really like my lian-li 6077. They also have the 7077 which looks to be about the same size as the coolermaster stacker. Same look on the outside as well except that it looks like a Lian-Li
http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Chassis/S_C_PC-7077A.htm
Mine didn't come with a set of screws. I bought som e 6-32's that I thought would work but the holes are actually to small. I bought the chromed radiator because I was originally going to mount it on the outside. I figured the chrome job reduced the hole size. So far I've been a little to afraid...
There's nothing to drill into. I'll try to get a better picture of the case but it will be difficult without pulling the water cooling apart. Top to bottom the case hold 5 1/4inch bays. They are wider than the fans and the radiator which s why they fit in there so well. Right now the fans are...
I have my radiator mounted on the front of my case. And I know this looks odd but I'm not done figuring out what I will do for a grill to match my case. This is what I have at the moment. Sorry if the picture is a little big.
I was going to use screws to mount it to the rad butit didn't...
I'm not sure if you will be able to use the GPU water block that you buy for the Radeon 9700. I'm pretty sure that the X800 and Highend Geforce cards have completely different design and need a different water block.
James
It may fit but it's not the correct fitting. The thread is a bspp. The bspt thread is tapered so you are basically relying on 1 thread to hold it in place.
They look cool. I'm actually having a hard time trying to place one on my case. Just remember that these require 1/4" BSPP fitings if you want a different barb size. I haven't found a place outside Europe that carries them.
James
I'm not finished yet but when I'm done it will be.
Innovatek Tank-o-matic reservoir
Dangerden TDX
Dangerden Maze4 GPU block
Dangerden Maze4 Chipset block
Black Ice "Chrome xtreme-2" Radiator
And I think a mcp650 pump or maybe the mcp600
Of course everything is with 1/2" tubing
I've been looking and teh only place that sells water cooling parts (Not kits) is bigfootcomputers.com
NCIX is starting to sell it but doesn't look like they have much in stock.
James
I'm sure they are good but when I looked I was not able to find BSPP or BSPT barbs there. BSP is the UK Standard which has a number of differences from the NPT which is the standard in US.
James
water-cooling.com has a information page about water wetter.
http://www.water-cooling.com/articles/waterwetter/waterwetter.php
I haven't used it myself but it's interesting to see. What I don't know is if it will kill bacteria.
James
I'm not sure if you've found a site in the UK that will ship to Canada and the US. I found this one http://www.airlines-pneumatics.co.uk/webcat/detProd.asp?ProductCode=S010142
That link is the 1/4" BSPT thread.

That pump only does 105GPH if google conversion is correct. Is that enough for what's in my loop?
I'm just curious because a lot of people recomend the MCP 650 which pushes about 330 GPH. I've heard it's a little loud but what's the benefit of the exra GPH?
Don't have an answer for finding it in the US but are you sure you want the bspt? I've spent a lot of time reading abou the innovatek tank-o-matic and it seems to require the bspp instead of bspt.
James
If this has been asked before I'm sorry I just didn't have any luck trying to find the information while searching. Everyone asks for pump recomendations but I want to find out what is needed in a pump. Obviously low noise is nice but how much GPH is actually needed.
I want to cool my CPU...
Ok I've relatively sure that the barbs are bspp. I found a site in the uk that sells the barbs needed and will ship to Canada. It can be found at this website http://www.airlines-pneumatics.co.uk/webcat/detProd.asp?ProductCode=S010144 specifically I beleive it is he part below
1/4" thread...
