Personally I've had a lot of luck with this case, I have two of them on 2 ipads, ages 2 and 3, and haven't had an issue with anything getting broken since. It's not very bulky like some cases and has great rubber on the corners.
I've personally replaced the screen on one, it was really difficult. I guess it really depends on the damage, if the chassis is bent up then you're SOL. But if the button is just lodged in there, then you could probably fix it yourself, however you'd probably break the glass in the process.I...
Once I completed an airplay project that involved an AE in every room, connected to an amp, allowing multi-zone airplay throughout the house. I stuck tons of these together and never had any problems. The latest generation - i can only imagine is better.

Don't come here trying to crap the thread. I'm alerting everyone to a deal on these drives. They were 180 a week or so ago. It's a niche product.
Define pain the ass.

Adding an additional sata cable is not very quick as you need to pull the logic logic board. I personally love to tinker and had no issues doing this myself. The performance benefits are phenomenal. If you have the extra cash and aren't confident enough about...
I ended up getting it from amazon. I'm aware that it's not 3D, no apps, etc. I honestly don't need any of that and I'm glad Samsung has an offering for people like me that have other devices that handle all of those things. Appreciate your feedback.
I paid $1,626 shipped (prime) via amazon, no...
I really appreciate it Doug. Can you go into some more detail about why I'm better off with a 2011 model?
I'm not terribly concerned about negligible differences in picture quality if it means more $$. I am upgrading from a 60" samsung DLP from like 2007.
Hey guys, i'm looking to pull the trigger on this 60" samsung LED TV, however im seeing a difference in model numbers. For example the UN60EH6000 is on amazon for $1,626 no tax/shipping. My local costco has a UN60EH6050 for $1,549 + tax ( 9-10%ish) instore.
I can't seem to find out what the...
Midnight CST? or PDT?
I've already downloaded it, but can't install it due to it not being released.
I bought direct from my battle.net account, though.

You're not entitled to something for free because you were a long term consumer of something.
I should get gas for free because I've paid THOUSANDS of dollars over many many years?
Is OSX virtualization an option? VMware on PC? That's legal right? A buddy of mine just did it with Snow Leopard and said it worked fine. Best of both worlds?
Randalthor, A few SSD's might be more cost effective and practical. VM's run like butta on SSD's.
I use Parallels everyday at work and I consider it to be more feature rich and stable than vmware on a mac.
Personally, I have stuck with Intel SSD's. Make sure the SSD you get is NOT Asynchronus, you want Synchronus NAND. I picked up a Mushkin Chronos 120GB on newegg for 130$ recently, put it in my imac (Read/write speeds were rated at 500/500), benchmarked it and it was like 180/150. I put an Intel...
I know this is moot, but you're not equipped to remove the glass? All you need is a 7$ suction cup from amazon. The glass is held on by magnets, not glue. Many people were able to remove theirs by prying it with a credit card or similar, and lifting it off. The hardest part about installing the...
That makes sense. Given that thunderbolt external storage is still extremely new and hasn't caught on yet, you can expect high prices like that. When comparing it to Apple's offerings, it's not much more expensive at all. If you have a generous budget, then why not go with the Lacie and Elgato...
Keep it simple and install the SSD yourself, or have apple do it from the factory.
With a 10$ cable and some patience/correct tools, you can do this yourself easily. I just recently installed an SSD under my optical bay in my 2011 27" iMac and it works great.
Installing your own SSD doesn't...
Colonel Panic,
88% sounds about right given the age/cycle count. Are you noticing some large amount of lost battery life or something? Or you just see 88% and think that needs replacement? I'm not really seeing a problem here. This is normal wear and tear.
I know your question was specifically...

Believe it or not, you can replace this yourself for 8 bucks.
So long as you can remove the two small screws at the bottom, and the 1 screw holding the battery connector in.
I bought this a few weeks ago and it's improved my iPhone 4's battery significantly...
Thanks.. I didn't post a picture of my iMac.. because it looks just like every other iMac. Proud of my SSD upgrade though :D (did it last week, was very fun, and it's suuuper fast.
