I have ti share the 7870 love, paired with a 2600K it lasted 7 years, it was really only my desire to mover from 1080p to 4K that obsoleted it for me.
On the other hand neither it nor even to 2080 I have now have ever touched the thrill of breaking 20K 3DMarke with my 9800 Pro back in the day...
The regulations were put in place to enable the rich and powerful to continue breaking the law by effectively excluding the only possible means for an individual to obtain the evidence of their illegal activity. In fact they went even further to allow the wronged party to be incarcerated for...
Not only are EULAs not Laws, for the most part they are not even enforcable. Frankly Sony should be subjected to a class action suit and charged criminally with conversion. As far as the prosecution of htese individuals go, what should happen is that some SOny executives shoudl be spending some...
And, once again, that requirement is more then sufficient to relieve them of any responsibility for support and liability. That does not mean I agree that they should be allowed to take active measures to prevent me from using it for a different purpose :D
No I mean Exactly what I have said. You can indeed buy a copy of OSX at retail, for example here:
http://www.amazon.com/Mac-version-10-6-Snow-Leopard/dp/B001AMHWP8/ref=sr_1_1/187-8898205-5544916?ie=UTF8&s=software&qid=1278960214&sr=8-1
Having obtained this item you should be able to...
IMHO the are a few damning issues here:
1) While the period of vendor lock to AT&T may be disputable (I can certainly see how some people reasonably expected that to end with their contracts) the fact that, of all the phones that AT&T provides the IPhones are the Only ones that AT&T refuses...
What the world needed was a truly open, unlocked smart phone in the $200-300 range with support at least equivalent to what the majors offer (poor - mediocre at best).
What they generated was an over-priced device with effectively no support at all. What was even worse is that the alternative...
I cannot comprehend why everyone hasn't realized by now that Facebook intends to monetize the personal information of it's users regardless of their past assurances or the desires of their users. Exactly why anyone who cares one lick about their privacy has failed to delete any and all...
They most clearly do Not need a licensing agreement with MS to produce and accesory unless patented technology is being utilized.
Not only should Datel sue them for egregious business interference but there should also be a class action consumer lawsuit in addition for all owners of these...
They should, indeed, be allowed to do just as they desire but first the market needs to be truly opened to competition.
1) The practice of agreements with municipalities for exclusive service must be eliminated and outlawed. Anyone desiring to provide service should be allowed to do so. It...
Reminds me of when I worked for Amoco befdore they were bought out by BP. They managed to reject a retired lady for a Gas Card who just happened to own > $20 mil in Amoco Stock due to no reliable source of income ......
I need an ATI 9800 Pro 128 with Samsung Chips (9800 Pro 256, 9800 Pro AIW, 9800 XT, etc.. are OK too). - The TEC on my MCW50-T shorted out and took my BBA 9800 Pro with it not 2 hours after I finally made 20222 3DMark2001SE with my NF7-S
I have:
Prices included in case I can't reach a...
Does anyone out there have a waterblock installed on their ASUS 9800XT? I went to install a Maze 4 Tec block on one yesterday and discovered to my amazement that there weren't any mounting holes through the board! The stock HSF is nice but not exactly up to TEC Watercooling! I don't really want...
The only thing that would make me leary (beyond it being tigerdirect) is the fact that the specs are 2-2-2-6 1T dual channel and it was tested at 2-3-3-7 1T on a non-dual channel motherboard? That really has to make your question if it will run to spec!
Get one of these http://www.comairrotron.com/ac_family.asp?FamilyID=66 for a blowhole exhaust fan and install 4x80mm fans on each side. You will probably want these http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=36-401-016&depa=0 to go with that setup. LOL
I overclocked a TRS-80 Color Computer Model 1 in 1981 from 0.89 MHz to 1.25 MHz and hacked the RAM from 16K to 32K (Bank Switched) This let you have 2 programs running at the same time which you could switch between. Not all that useful actually but interesting to get working. The best upgrade...
I have never seen that HSF but I wonder if it is directional with respect to orientation with the ZIF Socket? If he put it
on backwards it might rock back and forth and the bolt through MB design wouldn't help at all. Little to no contact between CPU and HSF = one cooked Barton!
Actually I got 2 of those chillers for FREE!
The are from my work and were replaced with $20K Julabos because they lacked sufficient heat capacity for an increase in workload. I have one and I gave my brother the other.
PS I tried my CPU in my bros A7N8X-E Deluxe and it was fine.
Looks...
This weekend I had a problem with a water chilling project.
The system is the one in my SIG an I was replacing my dual radiators with this uber water chiller http://www.ftssystems.com/multicoolbath.htm
and I was going to eliminate my res as well since the chiller has a 1.5 gal res and I was...

I must agree. The second time I plumbed my system I added a T-Line at the bottom of my loop with a ball valve as well. This way I can just hook up a hose and drain into a bucket. I will be appreciating this step greatly this weekend when I add my uber water chiller! Just one question though...
PCM+ does dry and harden after application but it should be waxy not powdery I think. I have never uesed that product myself but I have used other phase change TIMs.

Actually it not at all obvious to me that the newer stepping are better overclockers although they appear to run faster at default voltage. My week 19 AQUCA runs rock solid at 199x12 (2388 MHZ) and will run fine at 200x12 as well (199x12 benches faster).
It does take 1.85V vCore and 2.8 vMem to...
Yep, I have the TwinX 3200LL (Rev 1.1) and it's BH5. Overclocks like crazy, does 2-2-2-5 no sweat @ 200 and it been up to 2.5-4-4-8 @ 246 FSB / 2.8v - I know they'll do > 250 FSB with a little more volts and who knows how high they would go with some of the crazy voltages I see people here using...
