It's very lenient in my opinion. At the end of some races where there's been nothing but absolute carnage, I expect the board to be littered with red penalties... But at most it's like 2-3 people with like half a second.
I race a little dirtier with the AI, risking contact much more, and never...
Yah same here. Only tried career mode post patch though. Perf for me is where it was before the patch too.
Do the changes to wait time between multiplayer races make things better?
Big Patch today gents. How you guys feeling about it? I'm seeing lots of posts on Reddit about regression... Replays still not working, performance still in the dumps, excessive tire wear...
Competizione is a great game.. I never played it with a wheel so I should. Are these vids from the original AC or from Competizione?
Went online and thought I was doing well having qualified 4th... Then during the race I got booted into the wall at like turn 2 and finished 2nd to last.
More or...
Yah I turned it off too and don't remember seeing that effect
But damn... I've been messing around with the DLSS option for nothing. Where's the flipping file at
I used Hiren's not long ago and it's nice. Doesn't seem to have the partitioning tool you're looking for but it has 5 others

Anyone seeing high GPU usage?
On let's say Suzuka, AI race, I see between 50% and 80% GPU usage and maybe 40% CPU usage? GPU is mostly around 50% usage.
Anyway, I'll continue playing cause it def is playable but I've got my fingers crossed they iron this shit out
Edit: with horizon I can see...
Rt off was the key for me. A lot less stuttering... However performance still isn't where it should be in my opinion... Everything on high gives 85 in the benchmark, everything on ultra is 81.. AF on 8x. Blur off, lens flare on cause I like it , 1440p
It's just so stuttery. It's really hard to play in this state.. depending on the track I get between 40 and 100 fps on a 3090... Kills the experience. Wtf they doing
I think it's similar and I also think that changes like these have been happening more lately which for me makes it unsurprising. What's different is the way they're going about collecting that extra revenue. If it's accepted and works out for them, I'm assuming we'll see other players do the...
The problem I see here is that the person will feel like they're being penalized especially if they're one of the few that needs to come in. They'll eventually leave when they find a job that allows them to suck but from home. It's like the equivalent in schools, where you can sit the students...
Used to run prime for at minimum a week. small FFTs will get things hot and loose...
But then someone put out a linpak front end and life changed... Nothing would make your chip glow hotter. Found instability where prime didn't... I think someone put out another frontend since then called...
Yes I agree, I really think they should fight too.
Cage match, bare knuckles though
Steve has put on a bit of weight but he could turn it around easy
Linus, on the other hand, is a twig and would get torn to shreds
Even without training, I still think Steve has the upper hand
Honestly Steve really swung his dick around on this one. He isn't afraid to stir the pot. Hope this and the rest of his work propel him and his career into something a little more high profile.
Picked up FF7 Remake Inter-something off the humble store for what they say to be 50% off. I tried playing it originally on the PS4 but that thing was notoriously loud.
Kinda in the same place right now actually. I felt the itch to play some builder so I installed Cities but then immediately...
Like when does anyone ever care about promo materials or marketing unless it's to clickbait a video by putting Apple's name in the title?
Oh wow big news, companies spin the shit out of their product descriptions and capabilities.
Isn't this the guy that was walking around his house naked for...
One feature they implemented that I really like is that little pop in you get when you drag a window to the edge for window layouts. Really clean and well implemented. Very useful for multi-monitor setups especially with different orientations
I don't know when that shit was introduced but it's...
I think you should have auto updates on a router enabled. Granted they are few and far between for some manufacturers, but I'd think youd wanna take the updates as soon as possible for something that's supposed to be protecting your whole LAN
It's a little long but it it's the config page here: https://github.com/bsmithio/OPNsense-Dashboard/blob/master/configure.md
It involves installing the telegraf plugin and enabling some logging outputs in opnsense, the rest of the stack I run on my workstation with docker as it suggests.
Nice ^^
How's the firewall running? Discover any cool features?
If ever you wanna have a nice dashboard for it in grafana, this guy put together something really nice https://github.com/bsmithio/OPNsense-Dashboard
I got it running on my end and it looks good, I can't get the map to show the...
So all the developers in all of game development getting the biggest bucks in the industry are also the ones too stupid to intelligently allocate memory
riiight...
'i think I might need' is actually a benefit because its memory that would be otherwise unused. Games are doing this...
You say a lot of things and have repeated this ad nauseum for I don't know how long
You never explain why though. Could it be that there's something a little more complex going on and that it's actually useful to be able to fill VRAM with stuff you might need?
If a game has a feature where it...
Yah they really need to be more clearly identified. EVGA has a nice writeup on their site and a compatibility chart. They also tend to put part of the model name on the end that goes into the PSU. But I don't remember Corsair, seasonic or any of the budget brands labeling the cables. It's as if...
But cars have had a wide variety of sensors in them for decades... Why suddenly are we questioning our ability to build accurate and resiliant sensors now in 2023?
They get a lot of hate, but Tesla at least seem to be pushing the market forward with their tech and price cuts. Meanwhile the...
I renamed the thread to include OPNsense builds
I don't know exactly why, but I get the impression that a lot of home labbers and hobbyists are moving away from pfsense and recommending OPNsense. I'm not sure why (something about licenses ?)
During my research, I learned that you want a chip that supports AES-NI, you can find a list here
I'm running a 50/400 connection with roughly 20 clients on the LAN and the 2400g im using is generally idle for now
Thanks, appreciate it. I just enabled both options
Everything is working right out of the box which is nice. Enabled AP mode on the router and after it reset it picked up its IP from opnsense, WLAN working nicely too. Really happy.
One thing I noticed was that with the Asus router, I always...
I'm gonna bump this bad boy cause I finally had time to repurpose an old build.
I went with a Ryzen 2400g, 8GB ram and a small nvme boot drive.
I'm gonna make some time during the night to install it (my LAN's maintenance window hehe)
I currently run a fairly basic setup using an Asus AX58U...
