Yeah I watched there video review they released yesterday and they just seem to be going out there way to criticize it (as most people are). In the IGN video review and the few playthrough's I have watched, it does look like they tried to put in solid mechanics, crafting, and looting, skill...
Pretty sure matchmaking just sucks as this was a problem even at launch when there was way more PC players....at least that was my experience. We just keep it on and for the most part, our servers are usually majority PC players.
I wouldn't call E3 perfect, but it was the one time of the year where most developers and publishers came together to show the latest and greatest. Yeah some of the stuff shown never actually happened in the end result at release ...but thats not any different today. Still memorable reveals...
Im probably going to be wrong...but hear me out:
I wouldnt be surprised this is either a day 1 shadow drop or a short time window to release. GTA is one of those games that it markets itself at this point...they do not need to drag out the hype anymore then it is. With some of the recent...
XL is a CoreXY architecture and the MK4 is a bed slinger. Outside of that, the XL has a bigger bed size and tool changer compared to the MK4....these are probably the only big/obvious differences between the two.
It is astonishing on how hard it is to fire someone these days. Work at home only made this harder...how do you know they aren't working? What is your definition of unproductive? Are there KPI's that are being missed? What state/country do they live in and what laws are around firing? HR will...
Not sure why people are getting there panties in a bunch over this subject. Its kind of implied in the title...Final FANTASY...let the creators put out the game they want to put out, its not a documentary....
Plays fine...at least for me. While I have it on PC, I also picked up for Series X as its cross play and cross progression. Can't sit at a computer like I used to anymore and grinding dungeons on the couch is much better for my back at times. Hot take, but I prefer navigating with a controller...
Regardless of the end result....looks like they achieved more in 5 years (using 2018 as that's when they announced the project/game) then Chris Roberts has in a decade with Star Citizen.
Fixed an issue with players being able to join a lobby set to invite only.
Fixed many desync issues through out the whole game while in co-op.
Not holding my breath...but maaaaaybe Co Op will be playable now?
That and apparently the doubts of Call of Duty running reasonably well on a Switch. Its a fair comment, but I doubt that 10 year deal was created between Microsoft and Nintendo for the current gen Switch (which the rumors mill have the next gen Switch around the corner...you know if rumors are...
The 32bit Buddy board has an Accelerometer input...no details past that yet....so can't really say. On there Youtube Monthly Live show, they made mention it should be soon/around the corner.
Starting a thread for the Prusa MK4...lets try keep it MK4 related, so anyone interested in the MK4 can get the most out of this discussion ;)
My 3D printing journey started in 2017/2018 when the wife gifted me a MK3S kit for my birthday. As I learned the in's and out's of 3D printing, I slowly...
Looks like DHL has it coming today....assuming a tornado doesn't take out the truck or my house (lots of alerts right now where im at). Ill post something later this week/weekend on impressions and results.
I have a MK4 either arriving today or tomorrow. Pretty excited for it and the no live calibration. To many times I am changing nozzles for different diameters, filament types (Carbon Fiber, etc), or different sheets. The sheet profiles helped a bit, but always found that slight adjustments had...
I initially had stutter issues and figured it was the textures and VRAM. 10GB 3080 and the High Resolution Text Pack do not get along. Dropped the Textures setting to Medium and its all smooth now. Just a FYI if it helps anyone else!
As an ultrawide monitor owner...this concerns me:
Better just be a specific play test, personal preference (which if it was...why are you not playing on a normal widescreen), etc.....
I didnt play Witch Queen, so I just purchased Witch Queen and Lightfall to catch up. I am not seeing the Witch Queen missions and it wants me to start Lightfall. Anyone know to get Witch Queen missions to show?
Friendly disclaimer...my group was split 2 and 2 with 2 on steam and 2 on gamepass....found out the hard way at 11pm....there is no linking/crossplay between the two yet.
Probably depends on what resolution/graphic settings you play at. I play maxed out graphics with Ray Tracing on a 3440x1440 Ultrawide monitor paired with a 3080 GPU/Ryzen 5900X and it runs fine. I do not think I saw it dip below 40 FPS and a lot of time its in the 50-70 range (I do not watch the...
Hi All,
I haven't used a sound card since the OG Creative X-FI days (stopped using it when it was rendered unusable with Windows 7 and the sound changes they made). I recently acquired a pair of beyerdynamic MMX 300's and while they sound good, I know the onboard audio isn't powering them to...
Hmm, from a constructive dialogue standpoint, I am not sure I completely agree with this. There are examples out there with UE4 such as Borderlands 3, the Arkham Ports, Gears 5, etc that perform well. Looks like DX12 might be part of the problem (which maybe is UE4 related deep down)...and the...
Inside areas are fine...its mostly the open world areas where the stutters/performance issues start to present themselves. From my perspective, the stutters, etc seems to be when you traverse far enough and then the game loads a new chunk of the map in.
Pretty good and seamless. It has the "host" concept and does come with a few caveats and wonkyness. The host has all the progression, but main story progress, gear, stats does carry over to the other member. Side missions, etc seem like they are lost in translation (but it sounds like it may...
My wife and I played it for about 10 hours over the weekend and quite enjoying it. It definitely has stutter/performance issues, but nothing totally game breaking in my opinion (I am 35 and less picky these days...I just like to play games and have a good time)...just an annoyance when it dips...
Played 6 hours or so last night with a group of friends...it is quite fun and a good successor to Vermintide 2 (we have over 150 hours in it). The map design is pretty damn detailed too, but I do feel like its unoptimized graphic wise (I get it...its a BETA and we dont know what build it is...
Missed this comes out next week: https://fallout.bethesda.net/en/article/5AybTE48uEJ88sS1zFEcw8/quakecon-2022-the-pitt-comes-to-fallout-76-september-13
Definitely sounds rouge-lite....siiiiigh...at least they are "saying" you can solo it.
Co-op is a broken mess. My wife and I been trying to play co-cop (both on PC's) and it always results in someone getting dropped within 10-20 minutes, mission bugs (some missions/side tasks will show one screen...but not the others), and just other weird glitches (the non-host player cannot...
I always had issues finding matches, even at launch with Cross Play disabled. I suspect its more there matchmaking then actual lack of players on PC. Even with Cross Play enabled, sure there are XBox/PS players in the session, but definitely a good amount of PC players.
Getting close to 40...but I still game regularly and plan to until the arthritis/old age prevents me (so at least a few more decades). I transitioned more from multiplayer games to single player story games. Still keep the PC updated with the latest and greatest within a 2-3 year cycle and have...
The gameplay video looks awesome! Vermantide has close to 200 hours of playtime with our group (just a fun game with a full 4 player team). This one is looks like and is shaping up to be a good successor to Vermantide.
Not sure I quite understand what the "The Pitt" is? Is this a new map (if so, they didn't really focus on the map as a whole)? Kind of looks like one of those unique procedurally generated maps per run?
I mean, the last few Bethesda games at launch probably could of used a delay. Kind of expected Starfield to be delayed (even though everyone said not a chance) since we have seen nothing on this game minus a trailer that told us nothing about it minus "Yay Space"
I ended up getting the Ergotron LX monitor arm for this and pretty please with it so far. It allows me to get rid of the big stand it comes with and also allows me to push it back further on the desk.
Monitor came in this morning and just got it running. Since this thread is many pages....what the tuning/adjustments people are making? Trying to tune in the text specifically. So far I set it to 144hz, 10 bpc color depth, Creator preset mode (2.4 Gamma, sRGB), and 75 Brightness/Contrast). Been...
Woke up to a nice "shipped" email as well. Estimated arrival tomorrow. Been holding off on the Destiny Expansion from February for this (no big need to play it, but I do enjoy the story and a single play through).
