I'm getting high 40's to high 50's on ultra 4k. That's with no DLSS or Ray Tracing. Game is just stunning. absolutely loving the combat and i'm only a few hours in.
My Asus Rampage motherboard has reinforced PCI-e slots, there's no sagging at least not yet anyway. But there's no argument, the graphics card is very well built and heavy to match.
It's very quiet, even at 80% fan speed set manually. Boosts to 2100 out of the box and so far I have been able to add +35 to the core and +250 to the memory and haven't yet found it's limits. i think the triple 8-pin might help out there.
One other thing, it's friggin nuts just how huge this...
That's dedication there, 1,000 games wow. I have maybe 20 at best and with kids and a full time job and also have to make sure there is time for the wifey and me, I find it difficult having enough hours in the day and night.

It's a big sucker, runs very quiet, even at 80% fan speed. Performance is great boosts to 2100mhz out of the box and generally settles at 2040-2070. On the odd occasion it does drop into the high 1900's.
I was going to wait for RDNA 2 to launch, but my C7 LG OLED literally blew up (made a big bang and smoke poured out of the rear vents) After a bit of a discussion the retailer and LG, they're going to replace it free of charge with a brand new CX 120hz G-Sync HDMI 2.1 65". And then out of the...
Definitely buying something this year. Will wait to see what AMD has in its lineup, but my 480 is dragging its feet. I'm impressed with the 3080, but would like a couple more GB of memory, even if it's currently not needed and also want an AIB card as I enjoy overclocking and the Nvidia release...
It's been more the other way round lately. Nvidia release first followed by AMD. They wait to see how Nvidia prices there GPU's and they come in under that.
That's highly unlikely to happen. That was my reasons for only mentioning the 2080Ti level. I'd be very happy though to eat my words and say I was wrong. But history says different.
That was my first ever ATI card and it was an absolute beast. I remember all my mates around me at a lan and all there jaws were on the ground watching me play the original Farcry.
The last 2 instalments have been anything but linear imo. I’d actually rate Odessey as one of the best games I’ve ever played. There are so many different aspects to the game play. You can battle ships, fight major conflicts against multiple enemies. Battle bounty hunters and raid forts with...
I'd say it has more to do with showing off the new features. I would say that in the future more of the effects will be toned down to a more natural look.
I hope not as I want one. If Navi 21 uses HBM it’ll probably end up costing close to the price of the 2080 Ti. Whilst I might pay that many an AMD person will not. I’m hoping for 16gb DDR 6.
I wouldn't get either. If the rumors are true about the 5600 xt, then that's a much better choice for not to much more. The 5500 is nothing but a disappointment considering the RX 580.
Well that’s not going to cut it especially if they are going to keep charging these insane prices. If the want to charge around $1200 US dollars it had better have around 20-30% increase in rasterised graphics and close to 100% in Ray Tracing.
