    Weird memory errors

Just a quick update. I contacted Crucial for advice and they just pretty much gave me straight up an RMA number. I got the first module a week ago, and they sent today the second one. They seem to be manufactured 1,5 years apart and one of them has a Reference Raw Card: B2 while the other one...

    Yeap, tried that, no difference.

    Weird memory errors

Yeah I know I agree. I did say to myself multiple times that stable ram > ranks. (even in this case where I don't really exhibit any crashes... That I know of..) Because lets be real. It's not like you will really notice any practical day to day differences. Unless you are chasing benchmark...

Tried. Errors. Default is 43.6. Tried 48 and 40. Still same outcome.

    Weird memory errors

That would be ideal unfortunately I don't have that option (I live and work abroad with a small social circle and none of them have pcs). I'll most probably start by RMA'ing the memory first just in case for whatever reason the kit just doesn't playing along with each other anymore. The only...

    Weird memory errors

EVGA G3 750W Edit: My next possible culprit if it's not actually the ram acting up would probably by the motherboard. I can't imagine the PSU being at fault struggling with a single DIMM but being fine in games etc. (card is 780TI for whatever is worth).

    Weird memory errors

Tried 1.425V, 1.45V, and 1.3V. The last one is the one that took the most to come up with an error. :/ I assume that's the ProcODT value right? Thought that myself a time or two but apparently lots of RAM overclockers use it often so I'd assume there must be a reason. My ram is 2 DIMMS...

    Weird memory errors

I did try them a few days ago at 1.4V and same situation. I was intending to get them a bit more and see if it makes a difference. Early this year though at 1.35V and everything was ok so why changed now? :/ Unless the few times I ran the tests by sheer chance just happened not to get errors? I...

    Weird memory errors

Well I did think of that so when I was testing the modules individually I kept them in their regular slots (i.e my setup is A2/B2. Took out B2 and tested the module left on A2. No errors. Put the module on B2, took A2 out and tested again. No errors).

    Weird memory errors

Hi all, I have a Crucial ballistix 2x16GB 3600mhz C16 kit along with an asus dark hero and a 5950x. I've had the build since December. Due to some reasons I've ran recently TestMem5 (did so in the past for other reasons), and it came back with some errors. Kinda randomly. You ran it one time...

How AMD's Mantle Makes Games Better

So you are saying that my 6(?) year old 8800GTS can support DirectX 11 since the API is purely software?

I can understand that but it doesn't make much sense about one thing. Why does it crash the first time from cold boot when loading windows and why after that initial crash it's able to go on all day without problems whatsoever no matter how many times I re-boot or how many games I play etc. (p.s...

It could be possible I guess but I kinda doubt it because it started on the very next day that I got the catleap. With my older monitor it never happened.

I turned it on this morning and instead of loading my primary windows installation (vista) I booted into my win7 which has barely anything installed on it. It didn't give that wierd image but it did get a bsod and I managed to catch a glimpse of nvd**** something which is an nvidia driver. When...

8800GTS, Vista 32bit, 60Hz... I only have rivatuner which I use for monitoring GPU temps (mine overheats as hell no matter what I do). Wierd thing is that today when I turned on my pc and it did that again I noticed that the mouse pointer was showing properly so it's not a completely garbage...

So I seem to have a small problem with my catleap. Every morning I turn on my pc after the windows loading splash screen I get this: After I do a hard reset then everything is working fine until next morning when I have to do the same thing again. Anyone knows what's going on?

Because people keep saying that these are inferior panels and if someone wants a perfect one then they should buy dell, hp, apple because they use A+ panels. Which is not the case. Google apple cinema display and stuck pixels and you will find quite some results. Dell as well, they allow upto 4...

Yeah, I already saw the chart. There is some guy over at overclockers and he was running it ok. The thing is that his card was from a different vendor so I can't be certain of the similarity of inputs. But from the information that I managed to gather my card should have a dvi-I dual link which...
