Do you think my psu can handle the power considering a rx 590 tdp of 225W?

Thank you for your recommendations. I am thinking about a 1070 atm. Also do you think the setup would be strong enough for the next few years considering how multithreaded the games are becoming and myself investing such amount of money?

I have a 6 year old setup. i5 3570k @4.2 GHz, 16 GB Ram, asus p8z77-v, seasonic x560 and a 1080p monitor and a GT 730 DDR5. I plan to stay with this setup for now. Please recommend me the best GPU that I can pair it with the 3570k without bottlenecking.

I might be wrong but unless u are overclocking, using only one of the 4 pins should work.

Use the one from intel's website. It works fine provided u have select the corrected gpu driver.I have myself used. Asus does't update the newer drivers on their website.

I don't have much idea about the motherboard but afaik vt-d support depends upon the processor.The i5/i7 4x70-k doesn't support vt-d afaik.

I had the exact same problem some months ago and the psu was the culprit. system booted for half a second and then stopped. check the psu first with the paper clip test.

Its not at all for gaming, just for saving the odd office docs or any other imporatant work that I might be doing. Like the idea of a car battery but not so enthusiastic about, would like a proper ups:D considering these things should I go with the 600va?

Sorry but I forgot to mention that I am having a separate ups for the monitor. This new ups will be for the pc only(speakers excluding). I dont have a gpu at the moment.Will 360w will be enough if I consider a 600va after putting a mid range gpu like 760,660ti?

On z77 series boards , the mobo has a feature called multi core enhancement which runs all the cores of a 3770k at 3.9 at turbo.The stock cooler is able to handle that. As for z87 I dont know if that feature is still there.If it is just enable in the bios and u will get 3.9. no need to oc...

The 600va gives 360w. what va rating should I look at considering I will be having a 560w psu? also 5-10 min of backup is enough for me.

I know that the psu works from 100-240 v input. But the problem is during peak hours the voltage goes down and the ups starts to work on battery since ups has a range of about 140-240.so I had to use the regulator. Also they regulator I use its considered one of the best in my country...

I use a automatic voltage regulator. Its output is 200-240 ± 5 volts. The input range is 100- 290 volts. I use it because of low volts during during peak hours at which the voltage falls to around 130-140v . Can there be any problem using it?

yes previously, there were some ground problems.the ground wire was burnt at a place while leading to the ground. that may be a cause for ruining my 1st psu, but it was repaired after that. the second psu was damaged within this month, dont know the cause for it. but I think its my cheap...
