Not that anyone would know how these cards will perform in Crossfire, but generally speaking, how is AMD's Crossfire scaling these days?

This is all great in theory, but how likely will cross-brand GPU combinations play nicely together in the real world? We have enough problems today just getting SLI or Crossfire to work as promised using the same brand/same GPU.

I hope there are good options for those of us we want to use waterblocks. It would suck to have to pay for CLC we don't need, only to throw them away and spend the additional amount on aftermarket waterblocks.

I wish more games would render cutscenes in real time. They usually look ok at 1080p, but once you start running the game at 1440p/1600/4k, the cutscenes look terrible.

I think I've been nuked 4 times so far. Twice by my own doing :P. I've also lost all of my clothes from combat and was running around naked for some time.

AT one time, my nemesis had a vulnerability to arrows. I put a bunch into his head and took him down. When he came back, he had this face/skull armor strapped onto his face, presumably where his wounds might have been. Nice touch.

I actually think dying occasionally at the beginning of the game is part of the design of the game to establish a nemesis. I died to this one orc 3 times early in the game, and he's become my nemesis. I've killed him 4 times since after becoming more powerful than him, but he keeps coming back...

Stylistically there may be some visual similarities between AC and SoM, but combat feels much more like Arkham. There are combos you need to learn as you level up abilities. AC is pretty much a braindead system of one button attack, block and dodge.

When has a single dual GPU card EVER been better or cheaper than multi-card solutions?

Oh. I guess I haven't updated my sig yet. My i7 4930k is on a ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition, Corsair AX1200 PSU, and cooled on a custom water loop using a EK Supremacy block.

I went from a i7 920 @ 4.00Ghz to a i7 4930k @ 4.7Ghz. The difference is noticeable, especially in applications that takes advantage of all the cores and threads.

ROG Ramdisk is the only thing useful I've found in the software bundled with the ROG RIV BE. You don't even need a ROG board, or an ASUS board for that matter though. I was using it with an MSI X58 board before and it had full functionality.

It's mainly stands for "KAACHING!" for Intel.

Is that 3 drivers now where there have been no Rome 2 optimizations from Nvidia? It's pretty clear at this point that Nvidia and CA have proven that they are not working together on optimization. It just seems Nvidia and many of Sega's titles lack any collaboration.

A single core, 32bit application utilizing a maximum of 2GB of system memory, streaming all that data from the HDD... this is what you get. I don't know why people are still surprised ARMA plays like this since it's essentially been the same engine for the past 13 years.

I wish someone would try overclocking a 4820k to see if it overclocks any better than its 6 core brothers.

My uneducated guess is that Haswell-E won't offer massive performances over the previous generation either (single digit % per core), but merely add two cores. Maybe that's just my cynicism from being disappointed over and over again.

Where do you find yourself getting into performance bottlenecks? If you're looking for a real-bang-for-your-buck upgrade, you should probably look into upgrading that GPU first, and see if that solves anything. Any full system upgrade you may make would call for a GPU upgrade anyhow, so you may...

Full SLI support at launch seems to happen less and less these days. At least for the titles that I've been buying. IT's making me seriously reconsider a SLI setup for my next build.

In terms of the Tom Clancy franchises, I feel as if everything has been downhill since Rainbow Six Raven Shield. Basically the moment when Ubisoft took over. This game has a ton of annoyances. It really sucks that every time you alt-tab, the game switches to a lower resolution windowed mode...

I find it odd that there are no "independent" reviews after launch. I also read a few EVGA forum posts complaining about SATA, USB3 port and NIC (not working when CPU overclocked) problems. I'd hold off putting down $400 on one of these things without any reviews to go on at all.

I'm still running a 920 @ 4.0ghz with a pair of 3GB GTX 580s in SLI. The only time it struggles is on poorly optimized games such as the ARMA series (essentially single core), and games with broken SLI on a 2560x1600 monitor. I'm thinking I can hold out for another year until Haswell-E.

If anything, they made the low zoom level even worse in the second game!

That is way more features than I would expect from Intel. X79 already had disappointing features when it was released 2 years ago. I'd be very surprised if a revised chipset will pack in all those rumours.
