It looks available to the US to me. Also, the monitor is out of stock at Newegg. Amazon raised their price to $340. My guess is Amazon raised the price after Newegg went out of stock. I just ordered one. It was $289.99 with free shipping. That is $50 cheaper than Amazon at the moment.

Oh, I meant that as a good thing actually. If software didn't require UAC to be disabled in order to function properly or to update itself (some software is like this), then it would be a lot easier to keep UAC on.

If UAC couldn't have been turned off, then software developer would have had no choice but to redesign the way their software had to run and update. I disable UAC at home but I enforce it at work via Group Policy on servers and workstations.
